The JR Group have debuted their first private housing development with the release of seven three and four-bed homes for sale at Blackburn, West Lothian.

Almondvale Gardens has been delivered by JR Homes, the group's private housing division, which incorporates open-plan living, bi-fold doors and generous windows in the suburban central belt.

Projects director Andrew Dallas said: “We are known and trusted for our quality and craftsmanship and are passionate about presenting this in each of our JR Homes developments. We have used our decades of homebuilding knowledge to curate a collection of homes that go above and beyond a ‘standard product’.

"Our specification is exceptionally high and thanks to our size and approach, we can work with each one of our homebuyers to create a bespoke product for them – whether that’s added fixtures and fittings or converting the garage space prior to them moving in."

Calum Miller, director of new homes at sales agents Rettie & Co added: “The market has seen a huge shift from city-centre living to more rural homes which offer all the benefits of more space, more property for your budget, but still provide quick and simple commuting options to the main cities for the more hybrid working model most are adopting."

The new homes have been designed by Mast Architects for a brownfield site in the town.

Had a look at the site plan. Greta pity that the sitg wasn't used to provide a bit of privacy for each garden. It looks as if there would have been more than enough space to provide a thicket between each house to provide that private space and encourage nature
