East Lothian Community Hospital in Haddington is now fully complete following final handover of by Hub South East.
Landscaping and additional car parking has been finished in the grounds following the migration of patients and staff to the facility in November last year.
The £69m hospital was delivered by Keppie Design and Morrison Construction on behalf of NHS Lothian and as the largest Hub project in Scotland had to be delivered in stages.
Alison MacDonald chief officer of East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership, commented: "We are confident that the completion of the new car park will alleviate pressure on on-street parking and provide good access for patients and visitors.
"East Lothian Community Hospital is a huge asset to the community in Haddington and East Lothian as a whole, as a centre of clinical expertise and, through its thoughtful landscaping, provides an additional area of green space for the local community to enjoy."
The new facility is a successor to the old Roodlands Hospital and is intended to move the point of care closer to people in East Lothian while relieving pressure on neighbouring hospitals.
