Budding Builder, five-year-old Alexander Logie from Aberdeen, proves a real chip off the old block having got to grips with stonemasonry at the Self Build & Renovate Show in Aberdeen.

Masons Mortar Ltd, a provider of lime mortars, was promoting sustainable building methods at the show.   Demonstrations, a mixer operating on-site and hands on mixing and pointing sessions, proved a hit with everyone from self-build enthusiasts to building professionals.

The first Renovation & Self Build show took place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th of September at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
