Rooms 101
September 16 2008
Nord Architects have submitted proposals for 101 St Vincent Street to Glasgow's planning department on behalf of Dunaskin Properties. The B listed premises were designed in a classical manner by the architects Baird and Thomson in 1867.
Nord intend to rejuvenate the ailing structure and incorporate a new dark grey granite roof extension. The program of works are anticipated to cost around £2.5 million.
Rising rents presently favour the rehabilitation of such premises, particularly where roofscape is under utilised.
