Hart Builders have moved on-site to deliver the first phase of a £5.3m housing development at Beanburn, Ayton, on behalf of Berwickshire Housing Association.

 

The Smith Scott Mullan Associates designed estate will deliver a mix of 31 wheelchair accessible bungalows and family homes to meet pent-up affordable housing demand in the area.

 

Andy Mallice, managing director of Hart Builders said:  “We are delighted to continue our strong working relationship with the association, and designers Smith Scott Mullan and Harley Haddow, to bring 31 quality homes to the area."

 

Situated to the west of the existing village the greenfield build benefits from adjacency to Aytoun Primary with the majority of homes finished in white render and grey/beige ship-lap cladding.

 

Homes are expected to be ready for occupation by summer next year.
