Drum Property Group has confirmed it is to break ground on 324 build to rent (BTR) properties at its Buchanan Wharf development in Glasgow this week.

The developer has teamed up with Legal & General to secure funding for twin eighteen storey terracotta towers comprising 280,000sq/ft of accommodation including a dedicated dining hall, gym, lounge and games room.

A 4,240sq/ft roof terrace will also afford tenants a lofty perspective of the River Clyde and city centre skyline from the Stallan-Brand designed scheme.

It is now transforming not just this neglected part of the waterfront but the entire city centre of Glasgow, once again placing the River Clyde at the heart of the city’s economic and cultural regeneration.”

Construction work is well underway on Barclay’s Northern Europe campus HQ.
