RIAS 2008 awards now open

The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) has opened the RIAS Andrew Doolan Best Building in Scotland Award 2008. The princely sum of £25,000 will be awarded to the architect of the winning building, financed by the Scottish Government and Mrs Margaret Doolan. This award constitutes the largest architectural prize in the UK and is one of the most significant worldwide.A panel of judges chaired by the esteemed Professor Andy McMillan will look for buildings that display innovation and design excellence, irrespective of size and type.
A Deadline for entries has been set for 12 noon, Monday September 29.
