A flurry of annopuncements at Edinburgh Marina has continued with the unveil of plans for a waterfront Technology Hub providing office and co-working space for related occupiers.

Intended to sit at the heart of a vibrant new High Street at West Harbour Road the hub will incorporate break-out spaces, an events space, cafe, shops and restaurants in response to growing occupier demand in the city.

William Gunn, director at Wilson+Gunn said: “This development will deliver significant opportunities for employment, tourism and international sporting events; the proposed new waterfront tech hub at 51 West Harbour Road is an essential ingredient in the overall strategy of the various business incubator and accelerated growth programmes for businesses throughout Scotland.”

The £500m development will also include a mix of new apartments, a hotel and medical hub.

Fancy name for a callcentre. How this actually "will deliver significant opportunities for employment, tourism and international sporting events" is beyond my imagination. Nice building though.

#2 I think the sporting event relates to the overall development. I heard Sail GP are scheduled here on completion of the marina.
