UR100 nominations sought
October 22 2019
Urban Realm has opened nominations for the UR100, an annual ranking of Scotland’s top architecture practices, by inviting everyone with a stake in the quality of our built environment to identify those practices and projects which have shaped our streets for the better.
The UR100 is an annual industry survey open to all practices with an office presence in Scotland and aims to provide the definitive account of the year’s best performing practices.
To inform this process we have launched this short survey to collect relevant statistics from each practice for benchmarking purposes. Information provided will form the basis of a 100-strong rollcall of the nation’s best practices published in the New Year, detailing those practices which have done most to reshape the physical make-up of the country through a series of profiles and interviews that leave no brick unturned.
This year’s rollcall is themed on what Scotland can teach the wider world and will include a mix of category-defining case studies, thought pieces to inform an end of year state of the profession snapshot.
The rankings are open to all practices with an office presence in the country and are structured based on the volume of RIBA/RIAS & SDA award-winning work from the past year, number of architects and turnover.
