Well-heeled tenants invited to make Donaldson’s School their home

Tay Letting has given new meaning to the term boarding school after marketing what has been described as Edinburgh’s most expensive apartment within the grounds of the former Donaldson’s School.

Part of the Crescent development by CALA Homes and Richard Murphy Architects the £1.7m property boasts eyewatering views across UNESCO World Heritage Site with a rental cost to match, with prospective tenants expected to be charged at least £5k per month for the penthouse pad.

Malcolm Pickard, Tay Letting East director, commented: “Being appointed on what could be Edinburgh’s most sought-after apartment demonstrates Tay’s growing reputation in the capital. The Crescent is an iconic development and we’re excited to market a number of these special properties.”

Prospective tenants will be able to avail themselves of two private balconies and three en-suite bedrooms all studded with original artwork, described as the ‘jewel in the crown' of the 84-home development.
