FM Group has commenced delivery on a £12.5m development in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, which will deliver 91 homes on behalf of Hillcrest housing Association.
Mackie Village has been designed by Yeoman McAllister Architects to provide a mix of flats and houses, part of the 1,600 acre Ury Estate and will be situated alongside a 3,750sq/m supermarket which is already under construction.
The new development lies on the A90, immediately to the north of the seaside town.
Angela Linton, Hillcrest’s chief executive said: “This is our first development in Aberdeenshire and Hillcrest is looking forward to working with FMR Construction to provide 91 much needed affordable homes in Stonehaven. Hillcrest appreciates the support from Aberdeenshire Council and our funders, The Scottish Government, in helping to bring this project to fruition.”
Work has already begun to renovate the B-listed Ury House as the centrepiece of an £80m golf resort and housing estate.
