Ryder pre-empt Brexit blues with Amsterdam office

Ryder Architecture have opened their seventh office with the unveil of a new studio in Haarlem, Amsterdam, from which to spearhead European growth post Brexit.

Headed by Dutchman Wouter Peltenburg the office will join established bases in Newcastle, London, Glasgow, Liverpool, Hong Kong and Vancouver.

Managing partner, Mark Thompson added, “We have been considering establishing a team in the Netherlands for a few years and, through an ex colleague of Gareth’s, we were introduced to Wouter last year.  A strong relationship has evolved and, with the current political uncertainty of Brexit in the UK, this presents an exciting opportunity to extend our reach irrespective of what our politicians decide.”

Established in Newcastle in 1953 the practice recently completed the groundbreaking Bellahouston Park Hospice in Bellahoustonh Park, Glasgow.

Who is Gareth!? Is he on the till a costcutter in Coatbridge? He seems pretty well connected if he is.
