West Dunbartonshire Council HQ completes
May 25 2018
West Dunbartonshire Council has marked practical completion of its flagship Dumbarton head office.
The £14.6m project delivers 5,455sq/m of floorspace including meeting rooms and civic spaces, centralising staff and services on one site with a view to revitalizing the town centre.
In a statement Hub West Scotland wrote: “The investment provides a flexible, efficient and inspiring environment for collaborative working for Council staff and elected members; an accessible focal point for the delivery of Council services. Another important dimension is the role of the project as a catalyst for the regeneration of Dumbarton town centre.”

good to see the local authority proactively moving their HQ into the town centre rather than an out of town business park (ahem, UWS Hamilton) - will be a real boost for the town.
