Public have their say on Cross Tay Link Road
Members of the public are being invited to pass comment on a planned new link road spanning the River Tay, connecting the busy A9 to the A93 and A94 north of Scone.

The second phase of the £120m Cross Tay Link Road project is being spearheaded by Perth & Kinross Council, demanding the realignment of existing roads as well as a new bridge to facilitate the new route.

Members of the project team will be on hand to field queries at three public events scheduled for 21 May between 14:00 and 18:00 at Perth Concert Hall; 23 May at Luncarty memorial Hall between 16:00 and 19:00 and 28 May between 14:00 and 20:00 within Scone’s RDM Institute.

Discussions will help inform a full planning application expected by late next year in the expectation of construction beginning at some point during 2021 for completion by 2023.

SWECO have been appointed as design consultants for the road link, working in partnership with the council’s own roads infrastructure team.

Meaningless 'consultation' on major infrastructure project fait accompli

Yay for democracy!
