Inverness Waterfront on the up
July 24 2008
Proposals for a multi million pound housing development on Inverness Waterfront have been unveiled by Caledonian Property Partnership & Colin Armstrong Associates. The scheme could eventually see 190 homes built over the next 5 years through regeneration of the brownfield site. A spokesman for CPP said: “Inverness should have an impressive waterside just like other cities in Scotland and our proposals would create just that.”
The scheme comprises a mix of social housing, key worker housing and privately owned properties. To promote an active environment provision will be made for several shops, commercial office space and services all accessible from a waterside walkway connecting directly with the city centre.
The landmark building would be built in the final phase.
