Coatbridge amenity housing moves on site
March 27 2018
CCG have commenced delivery of a 28-home amenity housing project in Coatbridge specifically designed to meet the needs of elderly residents.Commissioned by Loretto Housing Association the project will offer a mix of wheelchair accessible flats for social rent, ranging in size from two to four bedrooms.
Located on the junction of John and Muiryhall Streets the design incorporates a private south-facing rear courtyard, communal gardens and a car park.
Calum Murray, director of CCG, said: “Muiryhall Road is a development that will be constructed using traditional methods, something that is relatively rare for CCG these days. This is also the second project to have commenced with Loretto association this year after works started on Shawbridge Street, Pollokshaws, in Glasgow’s south side this January.”
Work on the Hypostyle designed project is expected to complete early next year.
