Voigt Partnership founder Heinz Voigt passes away

The Voigt Partnership has announced that Heinz Voigt, its owner and managing director, passed away on 30 December following a two-year fight against prostate cancer.Voigt dedicated 35 years of his life to the practice he founded in Arbroath, which operates from a B-listed converted church, becoming a chartered practice with the RIAS in 2014.
In a statement the practice said: “It is with great sadness that we would inform you that our managing director, Heinz Voigt, passed away on Saturday, 30th December, 2017. His funeral will take place on Wednesday, 10th January, 2018 at 2.30pm at the Park Grove Crematorium in Friokheim.
“The thoughts of the directors and staff at the practice are with his wife Ruth, their children and grandchildren at this very sad time. Our office will be closed all day on Wednesday to allow everyone to pay their respects.”
Directors John Cullen and Maureen King will continue day-to-day management of the practice when it re-opens on Thursday.
