Dundee waterfront set for further growth

Dundee’s fast-evolving waterfront is set for further transformation ahead of completion of a Tayforth Properties quayside office development by the end of the year.Water’s Edge will see a historic transit shed converted to form bespoke business units complete with co-working spaces, seven meeting rooms and what will become the city’s largest restaurant and cafe.
Tayforth co-owner Chris van der Kuyl, said: “We currently have an office at City Quay which we really like. But Paddy and I decided we wanted something a little bit bigger, maybe a little bit cooler and even closer to the waterfront.
“When we bought Shed 25 it was literally a hole in the ground with half a roof. But thanks to our great friends and partners at Nicoll Russell Studios we’ve come up with this amazing concept.”
Individual open plan offices will have a capacity of up to 50 people with original features retained to maintain a connection to the buildings industrial past.
