Sanctuary Group, working in tandem with Inverclyde Council and Mast Architects, is pushing ahead with plans to deliver 104 affordable homes at five separate locations around Port Glasgow and Greenock following a programme of land acquisition.

The bulk of the homes, 60, will be delivered on vacant ground in Port Glasgow at Auchenbothie Road, Dubbs Road and Broadstone Avenue as well as a former school on Lilybank Road.

The remaining 44 homes will be delivered at the former Highlander’s Academy at Mount Pleasant Street, Greenock. Housing across the five sites will comprise a mix of houses, flats and cottage flats.

Should planning permission be achieved a simultaneous build could commence in March 2018 for delivery by summer 2019.
