Park Quadrant Residences plan set in motion
Developers behind the ‘missing piece’ of Glasgow’s Park Circus district have published a pair of illustrative video fly-throughs offering a bird’s eye perspective of 98 planned apartments and penthouses.

Park Quadrant Residences takes the form of an outer ring of accommodation to the north of Park Circus, completing a masterplan concept first devised by architect Charles Wilson in 1851.

Matching the massing of these original plans the contemporary infill will be given a modern twist by architects Holmes Miller while echoing the 19th century splendor around it.

Gordon Coster, director at Expresso Property Park Quadrant Ltd, commented: “We are very proud to be completing this missing piece in Glasgow’s history with Park Quadrant Residences. This high-quality footage offers a look at how the development will complete the ‘crown’ which gives the overall masterplan its signature. These new homes will be some of the most luxurious in the country, combining traditional architecture with contemporary interiors.”

Work to deliver the upmarket homes is already underway.

There's hardly been a proposal worth reporting (in Glasgow at least) for months....less a slow news day than slow news year from URs PoV. Personally I enjoyed seeing the video.

The most tragic thing that could have happened to an architecturally unique are of the city. Sold as the missing piece that never was you have to take note that permission was granted shortly before the outgoing Labour administration left office. Draw your own conclusions.
