John Gilbert Architects launch Passivhaus-standard social housing template

John Gilbert Architects have introduced an all new Passivhaus-standard template for social housing designed to offer providers a readymade solution for meeting stringent targets on energy efficiency and comfort.Passivhoos has been devised in partnership with contractors Stewart & Shields the properties have been designed to meet national and international standards on energy efficiency, ahead of their market debut in the revitalisation of Old Carntyne Church.
John Gilbert director Matt Bridgestock remarked: “We’ve developed Passivhaus homes that are affordable and can be produced on a larger scale for social housing, bringing the benefits to a wider market and for those who need it most.”
Each Passivhoos home will employ extensive insulation and triple glazing.

I know it's Social housing but it's just average and could be improved ... terrible graphics from the 90's .... and please do not produce this on a larger scale. Variety and good composition is important to create visual interest. I think designers should know that
