ISG appointed to deliver Edinburgh office rebuild
June 8 2017
Knight Property Group has awarded ISG an £8m contract to redevelop the former Edinburgh House on St Andrew Square to offer Grade A office space.Architects CDA have already been brought on board for the remodel, which will see a new floor added to the existing building and a full refurbishment of the levels below.
James Barrack, managing director at Knight Property Group, said: “At Knight we firmly believe in providing tenants with properties that fit their needs. Although Four North is within close proximity to all transport routes, there has been an increase in people walking, running and cycling to work. Bearing this in mind we are providing extensive cycle racks complemented by shower and locker facilities for staff.”
The speculative build will see Po-Mo façade detail, including a gothic style turret stripped back in favour of streamlined glass.

That's good news about the cycle racks and lockers though......pure visionaries these guys.
The PoMo ain't too bonny but at least it has a modicum of personality. The new scheme will fit in well with the existing and forthcoming banality around Multrees and St James.
