Reynolds Architects have pushed forward amended plans to build a dairy in the Wester Ross, Highlands, including its own on-site shop and café.

Spearheaded by the Lochcarron Community Development Company the Smithy Dairy would also house a cheese store, packing area, kitchen and cold store.

An eaves space meanwhile will be given over to office space, a conference room and training facilities.

Faced in vertical larch cladding and white wetdash below trapezoidal steel sheeting the project will be built alongside the existing Smithy Community Hub.
