Tenant sought for Dundee’s £18m railway station

Dundee Waterfront has begun a search for a tenant to occupy a café/bar space at the city’s new railway station, now under construction.When complete the station will include a 120-bed Sleeperz Hotel, 5,000sq/ft of office space and a mix of ground floor retail units as well as the prominent 6,404sq/ft eaterie.
Allan Watt, Dundee Waterfront project director said: “We hope this unique business opportunity will encourage a wide variety of local entrepreneurs to come forward with their ideas to create a leading hospitality destination the heart of the Waterfront. Dundee Waterfront is keen to take a long term, partnership approach, so we will be looking for operators that can contribute to our overall plan to turn the Central Waterfront into a must-visit destination.”
Scheduled to open by early 2018 it will have enviable views across to the V&A Museum and River Tay.
