Corryard host Perth mansion open day
February 28 2017
Corryard Developments are hosting a public open day at their latest project, a converted Victorian mansion overlooking the River Tay and Perth city centre from the Kinnoull conservation area. The B-listed Knowehead House was previously used as temporary bedsit accommodation by Perth & Kinross Council but has now been sensitively converted into five individual apartments.
Boasting an elevated position and period charm the property has been brought bang up-to-date internally with gas fired under floor heating, wood burning stoves and lacquered oak flooring.
Overseen by McKenzie Strickland Associates the work involved knocking through stud partitions to open up interior spaces while retaining historic features of the Jacobean villa.
The open days will take place on Friday 3rd March between 1-4pm and Sunday 5th March between 1-4pm.
