Sighthill Early Morning Demolition

The Glasgow Housing Association has announced that its tower blocks at Sighthill are to be demolished in a controlled explosion at 2am in the morning later this Summer. This is the first time such an event has taken place at night. The reason for the timing is the close proximity of the main Glasgow-Edinburgh rail-line, as our picture - which was taken from a passing train - shows.
