Fit-out commences at Girvan leisure centre
South Ayrshire Council have commenced an internal fit-out at a £5.4m leisure centre serving the communities of Girvan and South Carrick following completion of exterior works.

Built by Morrison Construction on Girvan Harbour the timber and glass structure has been designed to maximise views out to sea.

Councillor Bill Grant commented: “The brilliant new facility is located in such a way that the beautiful vista and the backdrop of Ailsa Craig remains a positive feature for locals and visitors alike.

The Quay Zone has been designed by Norr Architects to offer a 25m pool, soft play area, gym, café, studio and community space upon completion in March.
