Andrew Black Design unveil new Dundee HQ
November 15 2016
A Victorian mews building in Dundee has been earmarked as a new design hub following submission of plans by Andrew Black Design to transform the Tay Street Lane property into a contemporary business address. This will see the C-listed shell retained whilst a contemporary interior space is fashioned within, allowing three studios to be created – one of which will be taken over by the practice themselves.
Black commented: “We are extremely excited about the plans which will position us in the heart of Dundee’s Cultural Quarter, just a few minutes’ walk from the waterfront.”
It is hoped to have work get underway early in the new year for completion by May as the fabric of the building has already benefitted from a 2011 refurbishment by Dundee City Council.
