Highland Housing Fair PR drive
June 3 2008
Scotland's Highland Housing Fair and RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) have appointed Smarts to handle significant PR briefs. The Highland Housing Fair has retained Smarts as its incumbent PR agency after holding a three-way pitch. The agency will now communicate with key target audiences to help raise the profile of the Fair, as well as operating a press office facility for the client. The Highland Housing Fair, which will showcase the very best in housing design and innovation, will be the first of its kind in the UK, basing itself on a very successful model that is found throughout mainland Europe, particularly Finland. The Fair will run throughout August 2009 and will be held on a site at Balvonie, on the outskirts of the City of Inverness. Smarts second win requires the agency to run RICS' PR campaign in Scotland for the next three years. It's part of a triple appointment by the organisation, which has brought in Golley Slater to handle PR for all nine of its regions in England, as well as Wales, and its retained Northern Ireland agency, JPR. The focus of the activity will be on key UK policy initiatives, marketing programmes and local service initiatives offered by RICS UK.Read next: Fabiani Takes Inspiration from Design Awards
