Robertson secures facilities management contract for £42m Aberdeen School

Construction will get underway on a £42m Aberdeen High School led by HUB North Scotland and JM Architects later this summer following the award of a 25 year facilities management contract to Robertson.South of the City High School will be located between Redmoss and Wellington Road’s in the city the school will play host to as many as 1,350 pupils decanted from Torry and Kincorth Academies.
Ian Gibson, managing director, Robertson facilities management, said: “We are already hard at work, with our development team currently advising on designs. Across the contract, we will be offering Hard FM and life cycle maintenance services and look forward to welcoming pupils to what will be a state-of-the-art facility upon completion.”
Facilities will include a separate sports block with its own swimming pool and all-weather pitch with completion is anticipated by early 2018.
