Eastwood Health & Care Centre set for grand unveil
August 5 2016
Eastwood Health & Care Centre is set to welcome its first patients on Monday following handover of the Clarkston facility by main contractor Morgan Sindall.Delivered in tandem with the NHS and Renfrewshire Council the reference design will incorporate five GP practices, a café and public information point arranged around two external courtyards designed to maximise penetration of natural light.
From the main foyer visitors will be able to access first floor surgeries and waiting rooms with the second floor given over to headquarters office space for the Renfrewshire Health and Social care Partnership.
Hoskins Architects project director Clare Kemsley commented: “We are delighted to have completed our reference project, designed from the outset to accommodate future flexibility and an innovative layout and construction approach.“
Intended to support the public, third sector and wider local community the facility will offer out of hour’s community access.
