Stirling flats project breathes new life into city centre
June 3 2016
Stirling Council has opened a £6m development of 53 affordable homes on the city’s Goosecroft Road as part of continuing efforts to revamp the area around its main railway station.Built by CCG to designs by Michael Laird Architects the scheme includes three ground floor commercial units, currently being fitted out, and public realm improvements.
Council leader Johanna Boyd said: “It’s fantastic to see this ambitious project finally completed and tenants starting to move in to this very attractive and contemporary addition to the city’s housing stock which also helps regenerate a key city-centre site.”
Properties have been made available at mid-market rent and incorporate high standards of insulation together with decorative artwork created by Andy Hazell after being commissioned by Creative Stirling.

I like it. And when compared to essentially anything else in Stirling town centre it comes off even better. But if I move in, how do I clean my windows from my flat without falling out?

#1 The centre of Stirling has loads of lovely, historic architecture.
This is great, the site really needed something like this. Well done Stirling.
