May 31 2016
Holmes Miller Architects are targeting global growth with the opening of new offices in London and Guangzhou, China, as the practice seeks to capitalise on a number of new projects across India, USA, China and Australia. This will see the practice seek to establish itself as a UK-wide business from its headquarters in Finnieston , Glasgow, whilst using its presence in the two global megacities as a springboard for growth in the east and west.
Callum Houston, Holmes Miller managing director, said: “Natural Scottish care, diligence and modesty has characterised Holmes Miller’s profile until now, however, climbing out of a global recession it is only right to celebrate and fanfare the successful realisation of our long-standing ambitions for growth … ‘Today Scotland, Tomorrow the world!’”
Holmes Miller’s Guangzhou office was opened by the British Consulate-General’s economic consular Steve Arrick within a newly established central business district adjacent to the Pearl River.
In London Holmes Miller have established a studio in the South Bank cultural complex.
