Sanctuary showcase 39 new Cumbernauld homes

Social landlord Sanctuary Group has unveiled a £4.3m development of 39 new flats at Hume Road, Cumbernauld, for use by former occupants of the areas high rise tower blocks.Designed by the IDPartnership Ochilview Court was built in collaboration with North Lanarkshire Council and the Scottish government with 22 flats for rent and a further 17 for shared equity sale.
Cumbernauld MSP Jamie Hepburn said: “These are high quality new homes for people from the area that will last long into the future.”
Demolition work on Drummond House is set to take place later this year, followed by Blair House and Scott House, as part of a comprehensive regeneration programme for the town’s high rise stock.

The Lord wept .... UR NO-ONE designed these ! If architects and clients won't use their loaf the last line of defence should be the Planners .... This is dreadful really dreadful .... It's an embarrassment to call yourself an architect and trundle this tosh out project and project
