Final office phase of Quartermile gets underway
February 22 2016
Quartermile Developments has begun on delivery of the £35m final phase of office development as it ploughs ahead with a mixed use master plan for the former Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.Quartermile 3 will deliver 73,000sq/ft of office space over six floors and follows the successful pre-let of 130,600sq/ft of space in Quartermile 4, which is scheduled to complete shortly.
Paul Curran, managing director of Quartermile Developments, said: “Speculatively developing Quartermile 3 is a unique opportunity as there is a limited pipeline of Grade A office space in the city.
“The fact that we have 100 per cent pre-let Quartermile 4 several months ahead of practical completion has proved the strength of the market and establishes Quartermile as a prime location for occupiers.”
Designed by Foster & Partners the project is scheduled to complete by the fourth quarter of 2017.
