Scottish Design Awards open for entries

Entries are now being invited for the 2016 Scottish Design Awards, the annual search for the best architecture and design commissions, to have been completed over the past 12 months.Architecture judge Heinz Richardson, director at Jestico + Whiles, commented: “I will be looking for design that pushes the boundaries, addresses issues of sustainability and strives for excellence. Clarity of communication will be key.”
The awards, run by marketing magazine The Drum in partnership with Urban Realm, are now in their 19th year.
An entry deadline has been set for 2 March with submissions invited via the Scottish Design Awards 2016 website.
