EDI Group has unveiled a fresh batch of images depicting how Craigmillar town centre could look following its £200m transformation into a new commercial hub as it prepares to host an information event where the latest plans will be shared.

Interested parties are being invited to The White House on Niddrie Mains Road on Thursday between 15:00 and 19:00 to view plans for the latest stage in the areas regeneration.

Denise Havard, community development manager at EDI, said: “We are pleased to be able to showcase our proposed plans to the community which forms part of our overall vision for the regeneration of Craigmillar.

“Our aim is to create safe and inspiring spaces for residents to meet the growing needs of the area.”

Plans include delivery of 300 new homes, a supermarket and restaurant centred on a town square and play park to bring fresh life to the area.
