Holmes preferred bidder for new Renfrew Health Centre
March 12 2008
Holmes architects, working with Interserve Project Services, has been awarded preferred bidder status on the new Renfrew Health and Social Work centre. The building design was developed around a circulation grid, with a new public square at the centre. The circulation route takes the form of a public street from which all functions of the building are interfaced, so users can quickly orientate themselves with the building and have connections to the external landscaped courtyards.
The new building will bring together three GP practices, a district nurse, health centre clinic and community dental service as well as offering social work, speech therapy, learning disability and physiotherapy services under one roof.
