Leith Walk student accommodation unveiled

Ziggurat Student Living has unveiled a 272-bed student housing development off Edinburgh’s Leith Walk, the first of two builds which will eventually deliver a total of 532 beds.Designed by CAG Architects the properties include a mixture of cluster flats, studios and ensuite rooms the majority of the rooms will be let to Edinburgh University.
Ziggurat Student Living director, Jim Pike, said: “This latest development is totally modern and purpose-built and our emphasis is always on extremely high levels of customer service. With only a few bedrooms still available to let for this academic year, we are confident that our student tenants will have a fantastic living experience in Edinburgh.”
Ogilvie Construction is the main contractor on Murano Street and is also in process of delivering the neighbouring Shrubhill plot, which will house a Sainsbury’s Local store.

Was Barry from Eastenders not available for the opening? I did hear there was an envelope being opened somewhere that was of more interest.
