Aberdeen’s £11.75m Brimmond Primary School completes

Hub north Scotland have unveiled their £11.75m Brimmond Primary School in Aberdeen following practical completion of the city’s newest education hub.Offering 420 places for primary pupils in addition to 80 nursery slots the school has been designed by JM Architects and is clad predominantly in cream coloured clay facing brick.
Angus Macfarlane, chief executive of hub North Scotland, said: “We believe that the new Brimmond School will be a first-class educational environment that both nursery and primary school age children will benefit from for generations to come.
"This isn’t simply just a primary school. It’s a community facility that will bring a number of benefits to its surrounding area.”
Delivered by Ogilvie Construction the 4,501sq/m facility sits within extensive grounds including an adventure playgrounds, sensory garden and woodland. Non-standard functions also include an outdoor dining area, communal open space and two roof terraces.
