Work to deliver 21 affordable homes in Dundee is set to get underway in earnest next month after Hillcrest Housing Association obtained planning consent for their Dens Road scheme.

Situated in the Hilltown area of the city the brownfield scheme will include a mixture of accommodation for social and mid-market rent finished in pale grey/white brickwork to complement the neighbouring Stobswell Regeneration Area.

In their design statement JM observed: “The stepped nature of the proposal references adjacent building plots, creating a series of elevations that are perceived differently from all approaches. This results in a form and massing that is a three dimensional urban condition rather than a flat elevation.”

Completion is estimated for summer 2016.
