Aker Solutions move into Aberdeen HQ

Oil and gas services provider Aker Solutions has moved into new custom built premises within the first phase of Aberdeen International Business Park, a development of up to 335,000sq/ft of office space close to the city’s airport.Delivered by Turner & Townsend on behalf of Abstract Securities the £80m scheme provides Grade A office space for up to 2,400 employees and has already received BREEAM 2011 ‘Excellent’ and EPC ‘A’ ratings, said to be the highest specification in the city.
Mark Glatman, chief executive of Abstract Securities said: “The Aberdeen International Business Park is situated in one of the most prominent sites in Aberdeen adjacent to the airport, and will provide unrivalled standards of office accommodation and connectivity for international businesses.”
The Keppie designed project includes its own sports hall, nursery, medical facility and shop.
