Trump golf resort plans rejected
November 30 2007
Aberdeenshire Council’s infrastructure committee has rejected proposals for Donald Trump’s £1billion golf resort development.Outline planning approval was granted last week, however, following a heated debate and a tied vote, the committee chairman cast the deciding vote against the plans.
The plans have courted controversy for some time, receiving objections from heritage and environmental groups as to the potential impact on the local environment and recommendations from Architectyre and Design Scotland that the plans be revised.
