Whiteburn Projects detail ‘bold’ Dundee housing plans
January 23 2015
Whiteburn Projects has released a batch of images depicting its planned residential development of the B listed former Parkview School, Dundee. This has been sympathetically refurbished ahead of the delivery of ’bold’ new mews homes and apartments within its grounds by Page\Park architects, creating 45 new homes in total.
Finished with zinc cladding and with full height gable windows the properties each has a courtyard facing sheltered balcony on its upper level and private gardens at ground level. Internally living spaces are inverted with bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and living spaces above.
Eve McCurrich, development manager for developer Whiteburn Projects said: “The first owners have moved in and we only have two flats remaining for sale in the conversion of existing building, so it’s an incredibly exciting time to reveal our CGI images of the two and three bedroom mews homes that form part of private courtyards of the development. We also have 12 new build apartments which will all have south facing views over the Tay."

This looks like the kind of project that Dundee needs tp lift the confidence of the city

Wow, aesthetically very pleasing buildings. High quality design can help transform poor areas like this. I would love to see the internal layout and room sizes.

Sven - this is certainly not a 'poor area', the West End of the Dundee is one of the most prosperous areas of the City. An average 2 bed house will sell for well over £250000 in this area.

I think your confusing "Whiteburn Projects" to the "Whitburn Project".
Definitly not the same thing.

Nice to see the zinc work on that development! Will be a real eye catcher of a project!
