Cumnock Town Hall refurbishment completes
Wylie Shanks Architects, supporting East Ayrshire Council Architects, have completed work on the refurbishment of Cumnock Town Hall, overseeing repairs to the external fabric, re-slating, lead work, stone repairs and repointing together with the renewal of cast iron rainwater goods.

Funded by East Ayrshire Council together with Historic Scotland the works also entailed refurbishment of late 19th century brattishing at the buildings pinnacle.

The work follows part of a wider regeneration plan for the town centre which includes a new council office building and supermarket alongside a new civic square

This master plan focusses on land bounded by Townhead Street, Gorbals Bridge, Glaisnock Street and Greenholm Road designed to bolster access and improve local amenities.
