Dundee Western Gateway plan submitted
April 8 2014
Springfield Properties have outlined their vision for a £150m residential expansion of Dundee, which would deliver 228 homes, in the shape of a planning application lodged with Dundee City Council.Western Gateway has been earmarked for a green field site in the South Gray area of the city with homes adopting a pallet of render, facing brick and timber cladding. Over 40 per cent of the site will be retained as landscape with this element of the scheme being overseen by Ian White Associates.
Springfield chairman Sandy Adam said: “The site at the Western Gateway, which is west of the Kingsway and by Dykes of Gray Road, has been identified by the council for development for over 10 years and Springfield are committed to providing high quality residential development at Dundee West.
“This proposal has been a result of detailed pre-application discussions with Dundee City Council and the public, reflected in a planning proposal that delivers what the area and community needs and wants."

Hold on it looks as though someone has tried to design the house elevations. Surely this is not allowed by housing developers.
