Fife Folk Museum opens its doors

An expansion of the Fife Folk Museum at Ceres in Fife has opened its doors to the public offering improved access, enhanced displays and a new tearoom.This is housed within a wooden entrance pavilion built on the front lawn of the museum, offering connections to the High Street and replacing a former lean-to.
Designed by Montgomery Forgan Associates of Cupar the volunteer run museum plays host to a range of agricultural and craft tools, costume, toys and games, domestic equipment, pottery, and paintings.
The work was financed by the Robertson Trust with assistance from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Scottish Government and EU.
