Elder & Cannon complete Clydebank East workshops
March 27 2014
Elder & Cannon have unveiled the first phase of a new industrial estate in Clydebank on behalf of Clydebank Rebuilt, incorporating a range of air tight and highly insulated workshop units.Designed for a variety of prospective uses, including food preparation, the concrete framed units belie their utilitarian nature with exuberant gold and black rooflights rising above a profiled metal base.
More than just a flight of fancy these form part of a design strategy intended to attain a comprehensive passive environmental solution that maximises natural daylight and ventilation. Within this tenants will have the capability to specify their own controlled climate zones through fitting their own flues and vents without compromising the aesthetic of the building envelope.
The Clydebank East workshops were delivered by Hub West Scotland and built by Fleming Builders.
