Clydebank college set to open its doors
August 15 2007
The new £33 million Clydebank College Campus by SMC Jenkins & Marr is to open to students later this month.Seen as a major catalyst in a new urban regeneration project for the area, the campus is the largest single site further education campus relocation project in Scotland, built on the former site of the John Brown Shipyard in Clydebank.
SMC Jenkins & Marr project director, David Ross, described the college as “an exciting opportunity to create a dynamic new urban context, with the college drawing people back to the river’s edge, via the creation of new streets and urban squares.”
