Organisers of this year’s Saltire Society Housing Awards have issued a call for entries for researchers, clients, architects, housing associations, developers and others to niminate their work.

The event will also see the return of an ‘Innovation in Housing’ category which carries a £1,500 cash prize for residential designs,whether built or unbuilt, which demonstrate original thinking and imagination.

Awards convener Jude Barber said: “On behalf of the Saltire Society Housing Award Panel I am delighted to launch the Call for Entries for this year’s Innovation Award.

“The Saltire Society Housing Awards are proud to have celebrated Scotland’s achievements in housing since 1937. They play an important role within the Society’s ongoing contribution to Scotland’s cultural landscape.”

Entries must be received no later than 4 April with the winner to be announced on 26 June.
